Amy and Niko flew all the way from Atlanta USA to Switzerland to elope! I didn’t meet these love birds until their wedding day, but even though I only spent few hours with them, their connection was tangibly strong.
I was so happy to be back in Ticino and photograph their wedding. I just can get enough of this magical region in Switzerland.
Before their ceremony, we drove to Maggia River and Cascata di Bignasco, and took a walk around for portraits! I love some of the moments you’ll see with their daughter in the photos below. I know how sweet and joyful family life is, and I get a lot of meaning from documenting these beautiful moments. Their love is so evident and just shines as bright as the sun!
Rustico Ninin is the perfect place when you’re looking to have a smaller wedding or an elopement and focus on each other! It was everything I love about elopements. Sunlight danced behind the trees and showered the couple with a soft glow that was beyond romantic. It was so beautiful and Sweet!
They eloped but didn’t leave out their family. They wanted to have their ceremony privately. Just the two of them with their closest family. Daughter, parents and grandmother as witnesses....but it’s time to get onto the wedding images, so I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did shooting it.
